Maria and Gerardo’s beautiful wedding was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Dallas. After the ceremony we got to spend a little time with just Maria and Gerardo before everyone took a break to get ready for the reception, held at the Ruthe Jackson Center in Grand Prairie. The reception was a huge party with a mariachi group, a band and a DJ, as well as great food. Everyone had a great time, Simon and I included!

Shannen and Dan were married several weeks ago at the Old Red Courthouse in Dallas. Unfortunately, I just realized how far behind I am on blogging and so I’m just now getting their images up here. I’m going to try to knock out three wedding posts today, so I apologize if they are a bit short.
Shannen and Dan were a true pleasure to work with. They were relaxed and fun and were more interested in enjoying the day than worrying over details. Of course, they had Ivy from Ivy Wed Events to take care of those, so everything was beautiful. We had such a great time with these guys.

And a quick bonus- my favorite image from their engagement session.

Simon and I were thrilled to get to spend the weekend in Mineral Wells, TX a few weeks ago for Audrey and Travis’ wedding. We photographed both the rehearsal and wedding which were both held at one of my new favorite places, Clark Gardens. I visited with Audrey and her family there last year and we shot the bridal session there a month before the wedding. Travis’ grandfather is Mr. Max Clark, who started the gardens as his personal garden and still often works in the gardens, so this wasn’t just a random venue selection. Both families were a pleasure to work with and the rehearsal dinner and the wedding were wonderful and beautiful. I hope that we get to shoot there again soon.

Now that the wedding has past I can finally post some of Tandra’s lovely bridal portraits. We had so much fun on this shoot. I photographed Tandra both at Lovers Lane United Methodist where she would be getting married and at Belo Mansion where the reception would be held.
